Dorm Deposit: $150 required for each tournament

  • »  Dorm deposit guarantees room space, providing dormitory housing list is received by June 11.
  • »  Log into the Team Central area for the online dormitory housing list (you will need your team ID number to log-in).
  • »  Dorm space is assigned based on date of application and receipt of housing list; special requests are not available.
  • »  Deposit(s) are refunded following receipt of damage reports by dormitories. Damages will be deducted from the deposit. Damages that occur in common areas will be prorated among the teams staying in the dorm and deducted from the $150 deposit.
  • »  Fee includes transportation to/from the airport, shuttle service between the dorm and the NSC, housing and meal package.
  • »  Teams dropping from either tournament June 15 and after will not receive a refund of the team fee and dorm deposit, if applicable; player fees are refundable.
  • »  Individuals dropping from the dorm July 1 or after will not receive a housing refund; player fees are refundable.

Chaperones

  • »  Three adults minimum; 8 adults maximum are permitted to stay in the dorm. No siblings. Be sure to inform all prospective chaperones of the “no sibling” rule before finalizing your chaperones.
  • »  Chaperones must be 21
  • »  Alcohol/drugs/smoking is not permitted in any dorm, including adult rooms.
  • »  Vandalism, harassment, violence in any form, verbal or physical intimidation, gambling or inappropriate language is not tolerated. Players and adults in violation will be ejected from the tournament.
  • »  Quiet hours are strictly enforced. Quiet hours mean that players are in their respective rooms by the posted hours. Teams have a variety of schedules, including games starting as early as 07:00 each morning.

USA CUP Weekend Dorm Housing/Shuttle Service Package: July 14-17, 2011

  • »  Check-in: Thursday, July 14 beginning at 12:00; meal package begins with dinner
  • »  Check-out: Sunday, July 17 at 11:00; meal package concludes with breakfast
  • »  Teams continuing to play after 11:00 on Sunday, July 17, will check out of the dorm prior to 11:00 and bring luggage to Tournament Headquarters for safekeeping.
  • »  Airport shuttle service between the dorms and the airport runs July 14 and July 17.
  • »  Limited shuttle service for Final Team Check-in will begin Thursday, July 14 after 15:00.

USA CUP Dorm Housing/Shuttle Service Package: July 18-24, 2011

  • »  Check-in: Monday, July 18 beginning at 12:00; meal package begins with dinner
  • »  Check-out: Sunday, July 24 at 11:00; meal package concluces with breakfast.
  • »  Package does not inlcude dinner on Tuesday, July 19 due to Opening Ceremonies. Teams may purchase spaghetti dinner as package add-on: players-$5; adults-$6. Spaghetti dinner is held on campus, Schwan Center, 16:00-19:00.
  • »  Airport shuttle service between the dorms and the airport runs July 18 and July 24.
  • »  Shuttle service for Final Team Check-in will begin on Monday, July 18 at 15:00.

No Early Check-in or Late Check-out Option for Either Tournament, BUT...Contact Sha at sleahey@usacup.org for special hotel package.

  • »  This is a great way to get in the Mall of America or IKEA experience!
  • »  Teams with arrivals prior to July 9 or departures after July 18 should contact Sha at sleahey@usacup.org for special hotel information.
  • »  Special flat tournament rate includes breakfast bag, shuttle service to Mall of America and airport.
  • »  Teams will be transported only to and from this hotel for early arrivals and late departures.

University of Minnesota

  • »  Three meals per day. Meals missed due to game schedules will not be prorated.
  • »  Frontier Hall, Territorial Hall: Double Occupancy. Centennial Hall: Single occupancy.
  • »  Air-conditioned
  • »  Chaperones with uneven gender will not be required to share a room.
  • »  Every attempt will be made to keep teams on the same floor, but is not guaranteed.
  • »  Community bathrooms with separate shower stalls/curtains
  • »  Towels/bed linens/pillow provided. Towels may be exchanged daily at the front desk.
  • »  Free card operated laundry available
  • »  No charter bus parking
  • »  Parking permits required. Parking permits are limited and will be available for sale June 9. Estimated weekly rate with unlimited in/out privileges is $40.
  • »  Continuous shuttle service to and from the NSC.

Northwestern College

  • »  Each room is equipped with a kitchenette to include stovetop, mini-refrigerator, sink and bathroom.
  • »  Three people per room
  • »  Air-conditioned, swimming pool and sauna
  • »  Chaperones with uneven gender will not be required to share a room.
  • »  Every attempt will be made to keep teams on the same floor, but is not guaranteed.
  • »  Bed linens/pillow provided. No towels or soap
  • »  Laundry facilities available at minimal cost
  • »  Free parking
  • »  Continuous shuttle service to and from the NSC
