This year’s Target USA CUP is more than just a tournament — it’s a celebration of global competition. Several teams playing in the 2025 tournament earned their place through Target USA CUP Qualifiers held across the world. This unique pathway brings together diverse talent from around the globe, and this year is no exception.
A total of 28 teams at this year’s tournament qualified by competing in one of the official Target USA CUP Qualifiers. Representing the international spirit of the CUP, teams traveled from:
Utah (1 team)
Brazil (5 teams)
Mexico (5 teams)
Texas (7 teams)
Minnesota (10 teams)
Among the standout stories is Force FC 11G White, champions of the Texas qualifier held in Round Rock. Their performance not only earned them a spot at Target USA CUP, but also a discount as part of their prize. In their USA CUP debut, they faced off against Selección Uruguaya Femenina, a team also making its first appearance at the tournament. This exciting match highlighted the international competition and cultural exchange that defines the spirit of USA CUP.
The presence of Selección Uruguaya Femenina is especially exciting as they will also help usher in a new era for the tournament: Maldonado, Uruguay will host its first-ever Target USA CUP Qualifier in March 2026, expanding the reach of the CUP further into South America.
