Before the Match
Welcome both teams, referees, and spectators. Greet the other team’s Match Host. Remind your spectators that they must stand off the touchline to allow the referee enough room to move without interference. Identify the nearest Field Manager area, first aid and tournament officials can be contacted from these locations.
During the Match
Encourage positivity among spectators. Be available to the referee during the match and during any breaks. Support the referee by having control over your own team’s spectators.
After the Match
Thank other Match Host and referee(s) for the match. Encourage your team and spectators to pick up all trash around the team bench and spectator area. Report any unwanted incidents before, during and after the match at tournament headquarters in the Welcome Center.
